My Studio in Colorado Springs

Gretchen Kirstel enjoys painting in her indoors studio, but also finds that outdoors is inspiring.  Her indoor studio, at home in Colorado Springs, is equipped with some of the finest materials, which include; oil paints, pastels, water colors, acrylics, pen and ink, a variety of colored pencils, and many paint surfaces that include: canvas, a variety of paper, and boards.  She uses several easels and a drafting table to complete her art projects.  She also uses a camera to take pictures, and a computer to edit her pictures.  Gretchen works indoors to complete paintings she has started outdoors, which she paints from nature.  In the photos above, you can view her indoor studio and her working outdoors.
